Station Access Ramps Update 10 November 2009
Representatives of FoLSs have been shown plans of the proposed Access Ramps. These appear to be quite satisfactory but have now to go through a series of detail planning stages and also have to be presented to RMBC for planning approval. Whilst it seems that we have waited for a long time at least something is now happening. With luck we should have our ramps in just over a year - early 2011 is suggested for installation. JS
Station Mosaics
The children of three primary schools in Littleborough have been working on a Mosaic to go om the fence at the back of platform 1. The last panel is being completed by a group of adults and children at St Andrews parish room, see posters. We hop to unveil the completed mosaic before Easter 2011.

Three local primary schools, a Church group and some of our own members have worked over the winter months to produce four large mosaic panels to be displayed on the station. The work to frame the panels and provide mounts to secure them to the platform fence is well in hand. We hiope to see this fine dispaly unvieled within the next six to eight weeks.
